
15 January 2009, Shanghai. Today Hurun Report held the third annual
LuxuryMart, the leading matchmaking platform for brands targeting high net worth
Chinese.
Senior decision-makers from 51 brands participated from a wide range of
industries including private banks, luxury cars, yachts and jets, luxury drinks,
the travel industry, private membership clubs, fashion, luxury real estate, etc…
During the day each brand had fifteen pre-scheduled meetings of twenty minutes
each, giving them the opportunity to discuss synergies on a personal basis.
The day kick-started with three luxury brands giving their outlook for 2009.
Cartier’s Strategic Planning Manager, Roger Hu, Louis XIII’s Brand Ambassador,
Alan Way, and Princess Yachts’ Marketing Manager, Guo Xiao, provided food for
thought for participants with their predictions for the year. Coffee breaks and
lunch provided plenty of opportunity for networking.
