The theme of entrepreneurship in China is a burning issue. Over the course of 3 hours, Rupert Hoogewerf brought together a distinguished panel of speakers and 500 to 600 students into a hall to discuss entrepreneurship and the qualities required to become one. The six-person panel, chaired by Professor William Zhang Weiying, included Rupert Hoogewerf, Du Sha, The Home World Group chairman, Gong Jialong, Hubei Tianfa chairman, a recently unemployed worker and a Peking University student.
