2010 HURUN BEST OF THE BEST AWARDS(Shanghai, January 14, 2010) The Hurun “Best of the Best” 2010 Awards for preferred brands of China’s richest consumers were announced by Hurun Report, China’s leading luxury business magazine renowned for its annual ‘China Rich List’. HURUN REPORT HONOURS MACAU’S BEST PRESIDENTIAL SUITES(14 November 2009, Macau) Hurun Report, renowned for its annual “China Rich List” of tycoons, hosted the Macau's Best Presidential Suites Awards today at the Grand Hyatt Macau, a third leg following the roaring successes of the Presidential Awards gala events in Shanghai in June and Beijing in August. (13 October 2009, Beijing) Hurun Research today released the Hainan Clearwater Bay 2009 Hurun Rich List, a ranking of the 1000 richest individuals in China. There are 130 USSD billionaires despite the credit crunch. 43-year old Wang Chuanfu of BYD is the richest man in China with wealth of US$5.1 billion, followed by Paper Queen Zhang Yin, who had a rollercoaster of a year. The arrest of last year’s richest man and hostile government takeover of last year’s second richest man, meant there were seven new faces in the 2009 Top Ten, representing the biggest shake-up of the Top Ten since the rankings began in 1999. China's Low Carbon Tycoons Show Their Potential(2 November 2009, Beijing) Hurun Research today released the 2009 Hurun Low Carbon Rich List, a ranking of the 20 richest individuals that made their money from the low carbon economy, including renewable energy, green technology and businesses committed to the environment. The Hurun Low Carbon Rich List is part of the Hainan Clearwater Bay 2009 Hurun Rich List series, released in Beijing on 13 October. This is the first Hurun Low Carbon Rich List. |
