The 2008 Hurun Retail Rich List looks at the wealth created by the retail sector only. For example, Huang Guangyu tops the 2008 Hurun China Rich List with US$6.3 billion, however his value on the 2008 Hurun Retail Rich List is US$3.6 billion as his other US$2.7 billion is in property and private equity.
