(10 May 2013, Shanghai) The Hurun Research Institute today released the Hurun Best-Selling Chinese Artists 2013 in association with ShuiJingFang, a ranking of the top 100 Chinese artists, based on the sales of their work at public auction in 2012. This follows the Hurun Art List 2013, released in Beijing on April 24, which ranked – for the sixth year running – the Top 100 Chinese Artists Alive Today.  34 of the Hurun Art List 2013 made it onto the Hurun Best-Selling Chinese Artists 2013.

(26 April 2013, Shanghai) Hurun Report today announces that Coutts will be the title sponsor of The Best of British Education 2014, the latest update to the hugely popular Schools Guide Series. The Best of British Education 2014 will be launched in July 2013 and is targeted at affluent Chinese parents intending to send their children to boarding schools and universities in the UK, with a strong eye on further investment.

(24 April 2013) - The Hurun Research Institute today launched the Hurun Art List 2013, a ranking of the top 100 Chinese artists alive today based on the sales of their works at public auction over the past year. The launch was held at the Hotel Éclat Beijing. Artron, China’s largest compiler of art statistics provided the data for the sixth year running. The list includes artists from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. 

(15 April 2013, Shanghai) The Industrial Bank and Hurun Report today jointly released the China Passion Investments White Paper 2013. The 80-page report sets out the size of the market of Chinese luxury consumers, together with an analysis of their passion investment preferences and trends, based on the results of a survey of 1219 dollar millionaires from around the country.

(10 April 2013, Shanghai) The Hurun Research Institute today released the Hurun Philanthropy List 2013, which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary. The Hurun Philanthropy List 2013 ranks the 100 most generous Chinese individuals, measured by the value of their cash or cash equivalent donations from 1 April 2012 to 31 March, 2013. Donations made by a corporation in which an individual has more than a 50% holding, are also recognized as being a part of that individual’s personal donation.  The slogan of the Hurun Philanthropy List is ‘In Search of China’s Carnegie’.

(6 March 2013, Shanghai, China) Hurun Report today released Tycoons of Luxury 2013, a report identifying the dollar billionaires around the world whose main source of wealth is from the luxury sector.

28 February 2013, Beijing, China) Hurun Report today released the Hurun Global Rich List 2013, a ranking of the 1453 US dollar billionaires currently in the world. Wealth calculations are a snapshot of 17 January 2013. This is the first time that Hurun Report has released a ranking of the dollar billionaires in the world, the so-called ‘Nine-Zero Club’, and follows on from a ranking last year of the ‘Ten-Zero Club’, the 83 individuals with US$10 billion.

The survey reveals the lifestyle and brand preferences of China's wealthy consumers, and is intended to provide a holistic understanding of the spending habits and lifestyle changes of this burgeoning, influential and ever-changing consumer class. This year the survey included questions for the first time on the ‘happiness index’ of these wealthy consumers.

(8 November 2012, Beijing) The Hurun Report Most Respected Entrepreneur of the Year Awards was held in Beijing on Oct 19th in front of 580 guests, led by 40 entrepreneurs from the Hurun Rich List.  This was the sixth consecutive year that Hurun Report has held the entrepreneur awards ceremony.

(25 October 2012, Shanghai) The Hurun Report Polo Team triumphed in the Nine Dragons Hill 6 Goal Polo Gold Cup, adding to the Consul General’s Polo Cup title won earlier this year. The final match was another enthralling encounter between arch rivals Hurun Report and Noblesse, with Hurun Report coming out on top with an ultimately convincing 7-5 win.
